Spirit in the Sky

Just finished watching an Oscar nominated documentary film called Jesus Camp on SmashingTelly.com.

(Shiver shiver).... still shaking that one off. Funny thing is, I have a feeling that when any of the people featured in this documentary about the fundamentalist Christian movement in America saw the film, they were probably thrilled.

This is definitely one of those eye-of-the-beholder moments. It's so worth watching.

I am so glad that, although I went to youth group twice with friends in junior high, this was never what I encountered. I don't think I want to go to the same place these people are going.

Time for some wine and wicked thoughts.
